| All servers being backed up by a VGMBDR should have a Basic or Full managed service contract. Basic managed service is $80 per server. Full management depends on the server version and usually requires a detailed IT infrastructure evaluation and a signed service contract. |
| Correct unit sizing - It's important clients properly size the units that they are going to buy. Please keep these things in mind: number of Servers to be backed up; the size of the volume of data to be backed up; the anticipated annual data growth, use a factor of 1.5-2 to compensate for the incrementals that will stored on the NAS, and be aware of any new applications (ERP/ Document Imaging) being considered at the client site. |
| The NAS Units can not be traded in or upgraded. Once the units are leased or purchased the user owns them. Additionally, the NAS units can not be modified in any way or the warranty and the management agreements are voided. This includes adding software applications to the NAS itself, adding memory or hard drives. Pricing applies to NAS devcies purchased under both BDR and BDR Only. |
| For the lease option. The last 12 months of the lease amount should be prepaid. |
Prepayment is required for all VGBDR orders.
All BDR orders are treated as custom orders, no returns are accepted. However, if storage requirements change a VGMBDR can be upgraded.
Due to the popularity of this service, please allow 10 to 20 days for delivery from the date the order is paid for. |
